My path to software engineering started in an unexpected place—clinical research.
While working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Mount Sinai, I used R to conduct
statistical analyses on data collected from spinal cord injury studies. It was through this
experience that I discovered my love for coding. While I enjoyed analyzing data, I realized
that I wanted to do more with technology and creativity. This led me to explore software
development, where I found a perfect balance of problem-solving and innovation.
I shifted my focus from medicine to technology, enrolling in App Academy to dive deeper into
software engineering. This career change felt natural, blending my love for problem-solving
with creativity.
Every new challenge and line of code confirms that software engineering is where I belong.
I'm excited to keep learning, refining my skills, and growing my portfolio. Turning ideas
into tangible products fuels my passion, and programming has become both my creative outlet
and the perfect tool for tackling complex problems.
